Phong Thanh Phan is a Danish full-stack designer and design director based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Phong’s multidisciplinary approach to design is rooted in strong conceptual ideas combined with Scandinavian simplicity.

In 2015 he founded the Brand and Design studio HEAVY™ which specializes in Brand Strategy, Visual Identity and Packaging. In 2019, Phong joined IDna Group as a partner through a company merger with HEAVY™. In 2023, HEAVY™ left IDna Group and became independent again.

Prior to this he has worked for a variety of design and advertising agencies within the fields of branding and design in London and Copenhagen. He has also featured as a recurring guest teacher in Graphic Design at the Scandinavian Design College.

Co-founded my own design studio with fellow designer Robert Daniel Nagy. Together we created a truly multi-disciplinary studio that worked with everything from highly immersive museum exhibitions to engaging brand identities.
